SEMINAR
The College throughout the year organises a number
of seminars on various relevant
topics as part of its regular academic activities.
EXCURSION
Visits to different locations, institutions, industries, exhibitions
etc. expose the students to the latest know-how prevailing in the
industries and an opportunity to interact with high level academicians.
Various programs are tied up with these industries thereby building
a better relationship, which finally helps for placement activities.
Students of Biological Science and Geography go on Excursion to
study Nature and collect samples. This helps them gather practical
experience of what is learnt inside the classroom.
MAGAZINE
ESONA, the college magazine is regularly published to nurture
every student’s artistic/literary and communicative potentials.
Originality and research are ranked over everything in the matter
of publication and the decision of the Magazine Committee is final
in this regard.
STUDENT COUNCELLING & REHABILITATION
In general, college students, most of whom are teenagers suffer
emotional setbacks consequent upon personal frustrations, miscalculation
of potentials and maladjustment with the world around. Prolonged
repression of feelings and fear- psychosis tell on their mental
health and often make them neurotic. The more introvert few sometimes
in such situations follow the extreme course of withdrawal or revenge
as is evident from the upward swing of youth suicide and criminality
rates. Such students benefit from Personal Counselling , an effective
student support service in the college.
Apart from grooming students for a varsity examination,
through a paradigm shift the
college has now assumed the new responsibility of guaranteeing their
employability and
helping them to find jobs or be self- reliant through the Employment
cum Career
Counselling Cell in the college.
Fresher's Day, Teachers' Day, College Foundation Day, etc. form
the major portion of extra-curricular activities wherein the students
participate and refine their talents. The plethora of activities
during these days gives them an opportunity to co-ordinate with
faculty members. The annual fest is a rostrum for inter-collegiate
commotion

committed to having:
(1) Fully computerized accession & issuing system

a week. The N.C.C. authority supplies uniform and other necessary
articles to the cadets. Once enrolled as a cadet , the student has
to go through training at least for two years. The army arranges
various types of camps, e.g. Advanced Leaders’ Camp, Republic
Day Camp, All India Summer Training Camp, and Neighboring State
Camp for the cadets.
N.S.S.
Students are always encouraged to join the N.S.S.
unit of the college as volunteers. The N.S.S. volunteers organize
various programmes at regular intervals. Such N.S.S. programmes
aim at social development through Literacy drive, Family Planning
Programmes, Medical Check-ups, Environmental Awareness and so on.
After completion of 240 hrs of social service in a span of 2(two)
years, the volunteers are entitled to get an N.S.S. certificate
