Soumi Dutta Ray of M.U.C. Women’s College won the first prize in the dance competition during the Republic Day Celebration 2004 organised by the District Magistrate of Burdwan
Monalisa Mitra of MUCWC won the first prize in Kathak Dance competition at Bardhaman Utsab 2004
